There are several reasons a guardian or child might be showing up with duplicate accounts in your database.
If you opted to preregister your children and guardians, if a parent signed up for the mobile app with a different phone number and/or email than what you used for them, our system will create a new account for them rather than syncing the information. Additionally, if that parent/guardian then adds their children, those will also show up twice.
To fix this, from your dashboard select database and go to the Guardian list. Find the guardian with duplicate accounts and compare the information. Often it's a matter of an extra letter in the email address, two digits switched in the phone number, or a misspelling of the name.
Once you find the error, make sure you determine which guardian account has the correct information before deleting the other account. Also make sure the children have been moved over to the correct account, if necessary.
